Just meters from the gîte, you will find the beautiful tree-lined lake that holds an excellent stock of carp.
The lake is 2 acres in size and has depths up to 6ft.
There are three designated swims, each benefiting from it’s own unique features.
There’s a small island central to the lake as well as lily pads, marginal reeds, large feeding holes, areas of gravel and an old stream bed to be discovered.
The naturally fed lake provides a rich and diverse diet for the fish.
The lake holds a magnificent stock of both Common and Mirror carp up to 67+ lbs but it can be a tricky lake to fish. It is not classed as a runs water.
Prior to opening, extensive work was carried out to improve both the lake and its grounds.
