Lake

Just meters from the gîte, you will find the beautiful tree-lined lake that holds an excellent stock of carp.

 

The lake is 2 acres in size and has depths up to 6ft. 

There are three designated swims, each benefiting from it's own unique features.

There's a small island central to the lake as well as lily pads, marginal reeds, large feeding holes, areas of gravel and an old stream bed to be discovered.

The naturally fed lake provides a rich and diverse diet for the fish.

There are currently 70 carp stocked up to 65.8+ lbs and a cracking 69+ lb sturgeon.

Extensive work has recently been carried out to improve both the lake and its grounds.
